The Prince George's (PG) Plaza Day Center is a daytime shelter for persons who are homeless, near homeless, or in economic need.. Started in 2016, the Day Center operates under the umbrella of Congregations United for Compassion and Empowerment. The Day Center operates at the University Christian Church on Adelphi Road.

Several churches in Prince George’s County volunteer to contribute and serve meals. Our congregation prepares and serves 36 meals every third Thursday of each month. This is our 5th year of contributing to this great work.
In keeping with COVID-19 safety precautions, the Day Center currently provides: Take-out food between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday:
