Silver Market Food Distribution

The Silver Market Food Distribution Ministry is a monthly benevolence ministry in partnership with the Capital Area Food Bank. The Silver Market is dedicated to serving:

Income-eligible seniors
Age 55 and older
State of Maryland resident

Through this ministry, we provide access to fresh produce and frozen meats at no cost.

Our purpose is to demonstrate Christ's love through our service to others in our community while addressing the challenges of senior food insecurity.

We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Capital Area Food Bank as we seek to be a people of God who serve our community together.

Silver Market distributions are held on the first Saturday of each month from

11:00am to 2:00pm. If you or someone you know is interested in receiving food through the Silver Market, please contact us at silvermarket@upcoc.org or 301-679-5715 to register and learn more about the program and upcoming distribution.
